To be eligible for a Fee-Free place you must be:

- an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident, an eligible VISA holder, and

Get the skills you need to gain a specialised Dairy Production qualification that is highly valued in the Dairy industry.
If you work on a dairy farm and are interested in gaining a qualification for the work you already do, this Certificate III-level course will provide you with a broad skillset that will be highly regarded in the Dairy industry.
In this course you will develop your skills and knowledge in all areas of dairy production, including establishing pastures and crops for livestock production, planning and constructing electric fences and coordinating milking operations.
You’ll learn how to implement animal health control programs and feeding plans for livestock, as well as implementing procedures for calving and rearing newborn and young livestock.
You’ll also gain skills in respond to emergencies and learn how to contribute effectively to work health and safety processes.
Successful completion of this course will enable you to seek work as qualified Dairy Farm Hand and contribute to Tasmania’s reputable and high-quality Dairy industry.
This course is also available as an Australian Apprenticeship.
