Become a qualified trainer in your industry

Our free Vocational Trainer Preparation Program (VTPP) will help those in industry become qualified vocational trainers and allow them to pass on their knowledge, skills and wisdom to the workforce’s next generation.

For those working in civil construction, electrotechnology, automotive, plumbing or advanced manufacturing (and related sectors), the VTPP will provide participants with an entry-level skill set for conducting training in their industry.

This program is best suited to:

  1. individuals who have an interest in becoming an accredited   trainer to complement their current work in industry and/or place of employment
  2. individuals who are looking to refine their skills when conducting general training in their workplace
  3. individuals who may like to complete the full Certificate IV in Training & Assessment in the future, allowing them to teach casually, part-time or full-time in the VET sector

The course will assist participants in developing digital skills for use in vocational training as well as basic presentation skills and providing work skill instruction.
